Technical Assistance
Alternative Work Concepts offers "hands-on"
support to individuals, schools and organizations which
is customized to each participant's needs. Examples
of Technical Assistance have ranged from three hours
to one day to two weeks.
Technical assistance and training
are available to anyone interested in learning more
about job development and creation, school transition,
assessment, training/adaptations, ongoing support, creative
funding options and other pertinent issues. Our staff
and board members have learned how to effectively deal
with the challenges that can and do arise when a new
position is being created.
We want to help you to find the optimum
path towards your progressive staffing needs. Since
1986, we have been eager to help businesses and communities
in this way by lending our experience to those who request
our assistance.
AWC can host a training opportunity
and give participants an opportunity to tour successful
job sites or AWC staff can come to where you are to
assist you to brainstorm specifically what might be
possible in your community. Call, email or send us an
order form for more information on cost and availability
.
